It’s a small village of the Mexican
Caribbean located between Cancún and Playa del Carmen on
the Mayan Riviera.
Located in front of the village are the second largest
reefs of the world after the “Great Barrier Reef” in
Australia. For its beauty the reefs offer a wonderful underwater
world for the fans of snorkeling and diving. Here you’ll find
a quiet place, far from the touristy Cancún and Playa del
Carmen.
In the center of the village there are restaurants,
bars, exchange shops, a supermarket, souvenir and handcraft shops,
car rentals and travel agencies. You can also plan trips to nearby
historical places of the Yucatán Peninsula such as Chichén
Itzá, Tulum or Mérida. For the people who seek night
entertainment we recommend a visit Cancún or Playa del Carmen.
